Emergency Contraception

Things do not always go as planned. Plan B provides a second chance to prevent pregnancy. While Plan B is most effective when taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex, it may be taken up to 5 days after.
Plan B may be used to prevent a pregnancy when:
  • Condom broke
  • Forgot to take Birth Control Pill
  • Late to get Depo Shot
  • Had unprotected sex
  • Forced to have sex
